About FlyProof
FlyProof creates real, temporary airline reservations so travellers can show proof of onward travel without buying a ticket they may never use.
Why it exists
Airlines checking one-way passengers, border officers and consulates often ask for evidence that a traveller will leave the country. Buying a flexible ticket just to show it ties up money; editing an old itinerary is fraud. A held reservation, which airlines create routinely before payment, answers the question honestly.
How a FlyProof is made
When you pay, we ask the airline, through our booking provider Duffel, to hold seats on the flight you chose. The airline creates the reservation in its own system and returns a booking reference. You can look it up on the airline's website. The airline sets how long the hold lasts and releases it automatically. See how it works.
What we will not do
- Create, edit or supply documents that do not match a real booking.
- Describe a reservation as a paid ticket or boarding pass.
- Promise that a border officer, consulate or airline will accept it. They decide.
- Publish reviews, ratings or traveller numbers we cannot back up.
Our travel information
Destination pages, guides and Trip Check are researched from official sources and show the date each source was checked. Our editorial policy explains the process and how to report a correction.
