Onward ticket for Mexico
Airlines flying into Mexico City and Cancún ask one-way passengers for proof they will leave, and Mexican immigration decides the length of stay on arrival. A held reservation to a nearby country, or back to the United States, is the usual answer for long stays and open-ended trips.
