What is an onward reservation?

A temporary airline booking, a hold, that reserves seats until the airline's payment deadline. It has a real booking reference (PNR) you can check with the airline. Travellers use it as proof of onward travel for airlines, border officers and visa applications.

Is this a paid airline ticket?

No. A FlyProof is a reservation, not a ticket. No ticket number is issued and it cannot be used to board. If you decide to take the flight, you would buy a ticket separately.

How long does it remain valid?

Until the payment deadline the airline sets when it accepts the hold, typically between a few hours and three days depending on the airline and route. We show the exact time in My FlyProof and in your email, and the card counts down to it.

When should I order?

Shortly before you need to show it. If that's more than a day away, order now and choose a creation time: we place the hold shortly before, so it's at its freshest when you need it.

Can I verify the reservation?

Yes. Open the airline's website or app, go to Manage booking, and enter the booking reference with the passenger's family name. The held itinerary shows until the deadline passes.

When will I receive it?

You'll get an email with the booking reference and PDF, and the live card appears in My FlyProof as soon as the airline confirms.

What if my reservation cannot be created?

We retry with equivalent holdable flights on the same route. If the airline still won't create the hold, you're refunded automatically and told why. We never show a reservation as live unless the airline has confirmed it.

What information do you need?

Each traveller's name as printed in the passport, date of birth and gender, plus one email and mobile number for the booking. Passport details are only requested when the airline requires them for the hold, and then stored encrypted.

Can I choose my onward destination?

Yes. Pick an onward airport and choose from the holdable flights, or use Find the best route for me and confirm the flight we propose. The airline and flight are shown before you pay. We can't promise a specific airline because availability is live.

I made a mistake in a name or date. What now?

Airlines don't allow name changes on a hold. Reply to your confirmation email or write to support before the hold is used and we'll create a corrected reservation. If the mistake was ours, that's free.

More questions travellers ask.

Something else? support@flyproof.live. A person answers.

Is an onward ticket the same as a dummy ticket?

No. A dummy ticket is a document with no booking behind it. A FlyProof is a real airline reservation with a booking reference the airline can look up while it is valid. It is not a paid ticket and cannot be used to board.

How much does an onward ticket cost?

A FlyProof is a flat price per traveller, shown on the homepage. A fully paid ticket costs the fare, and refunds depend on the fare rules.

Do I need an onward ticket for a one-way flight?

Often. Airlines check one-way passengers to visa-exempt and visa-on-arrival countries because they are liable if a passenger is refused entry.

Can I use a FlyProof for a visa application?

Many embassies ask for a flight itinerary and advise against buying a ticket before the decision. A held reservation shows your dates and route and can be verified with the airline. Follow the checklist for your consulate.

Which airlines can be held?

Whichever airlines our booking provider can place a hold with on your route. You see the exact flight, airline and validity before you pay.

Do I get an e-ticket number?

No. A hold has a booking reference (PNR), not a ticket number. Ticket numbers are only issued when a fare is paid.

Can I see a sample before I order?

Yes. The homepage shows a sample reservation and pass with the same fields as the one you will receive.

What if the airline's website cannot find my reservation?

First check the reference and the family name exactly as entered. If the hold has passed its deadline it will have been released; order again for the new date. Otherwise write to support and we look it up with the provider.

Can I cancel a FlyProof?

There is nothing to cancel. The airline releases the hold automatically at its payment deadline. Customer cancellation and refunds follow the policy shown at checkout.

Is FlyProof legal?

Holding a reservation before paying is a normal airline function, offered through licensed travel-technology providers. Editing documents or misrepresenting a hold as a paid ticket is not, and we never do it.
